Applaud 25 SC is a selective insect growth regulator with contact, residual and some vapour action. It is particularly effective for the control of whitefly on protected crops. Whitefly is most susceptible to Applaud 25 SC during the larval ('scale') stages. Its residual effect can also kill nymphs emerging from treated eggs. Applications to pupae can also reduce emergence of adult whitefly.

Note: There is no direct effect on adult whitefly.
